load_orbital_samples

ell1fit.eccentricity.load_orbital_samples(results_file, chain_file=None, row=-1)

Physical samples of whichever orbital parameters a finished run explored.

The same load as load_eps_samples(), widened to every parameter of ell1fit.orbit_plot.ORBITAL_PARAMETERS. Parameters that were held fixed are simply absent from the result rather than an error, since which of them a given fit varied is the user’s choice and not a fault.

Parameters:

results_filestr

Path to the *_results.ecsv written by the fit.

chain_filestr, optional

Path to the samples. Defaults to default_chain_file().

rowint

Which row of the table to use; the default is the most recent fit.

Returns:

dict

{parameter: np.ndarray} of physical posterior samples.
